Fourth Annual Turkey Bowl
November 8th, 2009
The Fourth Annual Turkey Bowl will be held on Sunday, November 8th
after the second service (approximately 1:00). Last year's game of Old
vs Youth was a GREAT game and loads of fun. The not-so-young men
won out for the third year running, beating the youngsters 46-33 in a
game plaid on the snow covered lawn of Lakeshore Community
Church. There were exceptional plays, a rowdy fan base, and delicious
food throughout the afternoon of good Christian fun.
At stake was the year long possession of the TB Trophy, long held in
the same regard as the Stanley Cup and Vince Lombardi Super
Bowl trophies.

Bill Heinrich's Coast-to-Coast Bike Trip

Great News! Bill and his team of bicyclists dipped their front tires into
the Pacific Ocean at 1:51pm today, completing a 3100 mile journey from
the east coast of Florida. The ride took a total of 48 days to complete
camping out each evening.
Congratulations to Bill and thanks to our Father for protecting him and
the rest of his team during this arduous journey.
We are so proud of you Bill and we can't wait for you to share your
adventure with us.
Not bad for an old man (who in so many ways is younger than most of
us).
