Iron Sharpens Iron
October 23, 2009
The men of Lakeshore Community Church experienced God's love
during 8 hours at this years Iron Sharpens Iron men's conference in left
renewed in our faith by the Holy Spirit.
Beyond the community sessions, the day was split into two sessions
of special topics. Each person was able to attend sessions that was
meaningful to their life and faith journey.

awarded to our group as one of the two "Outstanding Men's Ministry of
2009"

3rd Annual Turkey Bowl
November 8th, 2009
The Fourth Annual Turkey Bowl will be held on Sunday, November 8th
after the second service (approximately 1:00). Last year's game of Old
vs Youth was a GREAT game and loads of fun. The not-so-young men
won out for the third year running, beating the youngsters 46-33 in a
game plaid on the snow covered lawn of Lakeshore Community
Church. There were exceptional plays, a rowdy fan base, and delicious
food throughout the afternoon of good Christian fun.
At stake was the year long possession of the TB Trophy, long held in
the same regard as the Stanley Cup and Vince Lombardi Super
Bowl trophies.

Mission Share 2009
For three years now, NMIC Men have sponsored local families for
Christmas. The past two years we were fortunate that Dave Ellis
crossed the threshold and took the sleigh reigns and organized our
efforts. Unfortunately, Dave cannot lead the effort this year so we are
looking for someone (you perhaps?) to cross the threshold of your
comfort zone and lead this worthy cause for our ministry. If you are
feeling God's nudging to volunteer, contact Tom Saluzzo or Mike
Fragassi as soon as possible. We need to submit our application very
soon.
